How is Islam not a racist religion even though it values the prophetâs tribe more than others? Islam tells us to give extra respect to seyeds, who are from the holy prophetâs family tree and thus are from the Hashemite tribe. Other than that, when it comes to seyeds, there are special rules for them, eg. They get a special share from khums or they donât get treated the same as the rest in doomsday. That said, how can Islam be a religion of equal rights?
A Muslim friend told me that he is not offended by drawings of the Prophet (s) at all. He said that Prophet Muhammad (s) faced harsher realities in his lifetime and he forgave them all. They cursed him, spat at him, threw garbage at him, killed his family members, boycotted him to starvation, and yet he forgave them all. So why should Muslims make so much fuss over depicted him in cartoons?
An Arab who had just killed his infant daughter visited Prophet Muhammad (s) because he felt guilty about it. He started telling him about how the child was grabbing his clothes and moving about when he strangled her or was burying her alive. So Prophet Muhammad (s) moved his face away from the guy, started crying, told him to stop talking, and told him to go away. What I don’t understand is that why didnât he order him to be murdered on the spot?
